This system features specially designed Mod Media™ cartridges which filter out particles 3 times smaller than sand. Because of the unique design of the integral cartridges, or “Mod Media”, they will only have to be rinsed once or twice per season. Now you can have the easy operation of sand with the exceptional water clarity of a cartridge filter.
This system comes with our rugged high tech filter tank that is built of tough Dura-Glas™ composite materials to withstand weather and corrosion. It is backed by a 1-Year Warranty. The tank is also designed around easy access with its “posi” clamp closure that allows rinse-in-place cleaning of the Mod Media™ cartridges. You can wash your Mod Media™ cartridges without removing them.
Mod Media™ systems are designed for ultra capacity and can hold up to 15 times the dirt of a normal cartridge or sand filter. It can handle so much dirt and continue to run efficiently, that you will only have to rinse the cartridges once or twice a season. BADU® ECO M3 - VARIABLE SPEED ENERGY INTELLIGENT PUMP with Remote Control
THIS HIGH TECH PUMP AUTOMATICALLY REDUCES POWER TO REDUCE ENERGY USAGE.
BADU® ECO M3 greatly reduces the operating costs on pools from 10,000 to 25,000 gallons. The pump offers three speeds: high, medium, and low. Now you can use the most cost efficient speed for the job at hand.
Energy usage is greatly reduced by this pump’s ability to clean your entire pool on low speed at a maximum power consumption of 160 Watts per hour. At high speed, the maximum power consumption is 1200 Watts per hour. High speed pumps can turn over your water faster, but at a tremendous energy cost due to the added friction in your system. At lower speed, your pump pushes less water through your system, creating less restriction and more efficiency.
Use the Medium and High Speed Functions when you need a boost to your system. The high speed setting provides the power needed for backwashing and for running automatic cleaners. The medium speed setting is sufficient to give the extra boost needed for suction cleaners that work through your skimmer and for circulating the water faster during heavy bather loads.
After 2 hours at high or medium speed, the BADU® ECO M3 automatically defaults to the lowest speed, saving energy and money. You don’t have to worry about forgetting to change the speed back after boosting the power.
